Since first coming across such incredible works of art many years ago, I have wanted to use them in my gardens. The quality and diversity of the carvings and workmanship of these Architectural pieces is hard to appreciate from these images, suffice to say they have a serious "Wow factor" wherever they are seen.

The styles of carving are from different areas of Pakistan, ranging from the "wild west Frontier" of the North West Frontier, which borders Afghanistan and Kashmir; The Punjab, now divided by the Indian border, forming a very large chunk of Pakistan and perhaps the most fertile area being fed by the great Rivers Indus, Chenab and Sutlej which is reflected in the slightly more fertile and ornate carvings; The Sindh Province is an area where there has been less historical influence from the Mogul dynasties therefore retaining more of its neighbouring Indian and Hindu origins from the desert state of Rajasthan.

These stunning doors and windows are equally useable as interior or exterior pieces with the majority of the timber being very durable hard woods with some very densely grained pines and cedar wood used in some instances. Whether you have a tall wall that needs something different or you wish to build a folly in the garden or simply want to make a statement about "making an entrance" you quite probably will never have seen anything like this before!
